Hey there, I’m Katy Lacette.
After living in various parts of the United States, my own journey has brought me here to the beautiful mountains of Colorado. As a therapist, I am interested in the combination of modern psychology with that of the ancient wisdom traditions, along with the integration of contemporary neuroscience.
Together we can work to create a safe space to explore whatever brings you to therapy with openness, humility, and a nonjudgemental approach. From this space, we can move towards healing and profound transformation.
Embodiment. Presence. Resilience.
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and an integrative psychotherapist. My training is in Transpersonal, Existential, Gestalt, Expressive Arts and Mindfulness based psychotherapies. I use many evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.
